New Zealand

The capital city of New Zealand, Wellington, is an often under appreciated gem of the southern hemisphere. Situated on the pristine Wellington Harbour, there is much to explore in the city. To begin, see this city from above in magnificent panorama from Mount Victoria. An eminently instagrammable attraction, the Mount Victoria Lookout is a must-see for every visitor to the city.
Back down below, Zealandia is a sanctuary on the outskirts of the city. The valley boasts some wildlife not seen around the world including the Takahe, a bird species of which there are only 250 left. For more up-close time with animals, visit the wonderful Wellington Zoo.
Movie buffs will love the Weta Cave, a mini-museum dedicated to the work of the Weta Workshop. Their claim to fame is the work of Peter Jackson, including The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies, and the epic King Kong.
Christchurch is the largest city in New Zealand’s South Island. The city, and the wider region of Canterbury, is exhilarating, relaxing, quaint and sophisticated all at once, and is all about nature and the outdoors.
When in Christchurch try biking or driving along the Summit Road for fantastic views of the city, punting on the Avon River, soaring above valleys on The Gondola, or visit the Botanic Gardens (Christchurch is actually known as ‘The Garden City'). Alternatively, meet the native fauna at the Willowbank Wildlife Reserve where there is a kiwi breeding program or head to The International Antarctic Centre and meet some penguins. There’s plenty more to see and do in this delightful city, including farmers’ markets, golfing, short walks and hikes, skiing and of course, wine trails!
Auckland, in New Zealand’s North Island, could be considered the perfect triple threat: a stunning and diverse landscape, a rich melting pot of cultures, and a sophisticated, modern cityscape. Bush walk, shop, skydive, ride ferries, watch cricket, catch a rugby match, go to the beach, sail, café hop, wine taste, bar-hop, fine dine, explore art galleries - Auckland is a destination that has something, many things, for everybody.
The nature-minded can spend their days exploring the twin harbours, forty-seven islands, numerous parks and volcanic fields of the 'Auckland urban area' which encompasses Waiwera, Kumeu and Runciman. A must-see is the Auckland War Memorial Museum for an insight into the history of New Zealand and its people, and it houses one of the world’s largest collections of artefacts from Pacific and Maori culture.
Australia
Whether its the hustle and bustle of Sydney, an escape to the outback or a ski trip - Australia is a vast and exciting travel destination.
