Islet in the Mamanuca Islands in Fiji

Bubble Dreaming for Fiji

Fiji is family-friendly for little tots and big kids alike, it’s often chosen by couples for weddings or honeymoons and it suits large groups travelling together for business or pleasure. With murmurings of an Australian-Fijian travel bubble on the horizon, here’s a reminder of some of the things we enjoy most about Fiji:

Adults-Only Resorts

Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway that involves heading off without the kids, or you're a couple hoping that there won’t be any kids where you’re going, there are plenty of adults-only resorts in Fiji. From top-rated properties to lesser-known gems, you can be confident that having a little more peace and quiet by the pool and time to savour exotic tastes at mealtimes will definitely be on the menu.

Snorkelling

Fiji just begs its visitors to venture beyond their hotel grounds and experience this natural paradise at its best. Home to some of the most vibrant snorkelling spots in the world, including the coral gardens of the Great Astrolabe Reef and the Beqa Lagoon, you’ll lose sense of time surrounded by warm waters which host an abundance of exotic fish, turtles and clams.

Taveuni ‘Garden Island’ Hiking

Adventure can be found both below the sea and on the ground in Fiji. Perhaps the best place to take in the terrestrial sights is Taveuni, known as the Fijian ‘garden island’. Laden with forests, hidden waterfalls, marine parks, dive sites, crater lakes and jungles, you’ll be spoiled for choice in where to go and what to do. There’s even a natural waterslide!

Relaxing on Mamanuca and Yasawa

If laying on the beach with a good book is more your style, you’re in luck. The ancient Mamanuca and Yasawa islands are the go-to spot for that classic Fiji feel. Blue Lagoon is just one of the peaceful bays in these chains of tiny islands - and did you know that arrangements can even be made so that you have a whole island to yourself? Ask us for details.

Cruise or Scenic Flight

Last but not least is seeing Fiji from the sea and the sky. There’s a huge range of incredible sea cruise and scenic flight tour options available, from mountaintops to secluded lagoons, all with views will not disappoint!

While we’re not travelling yet, it’s never too early to start planning for a Pacific travel bubble, so reach out to your local Travellers Choice agent for a chat about your Fiji plans.
